  1. Definitions
    1. In these Terms and Conditions ("Conditions"), the following definitions shall apply unless the context otherwise requires:

      "Agreement" means the agreement formed by these Conditions, the Website Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

      "Computer" means your computer, notebook computer, personal digital assistant, mobile phone or other electronic device used to access the Site or the Content.

      "Content" means materials, information, news, advertisements, listings, data, input, text, songs, audio, video, pictures, graphics, software, blogs, webcasts, podcasts, broadcasts, messages, software, comments, suggestions, ideas and other content.

      "Licensed Content" means any Content licensed by SPH in accordance with the terms of the Agreement.

      "Site" means

      "SPH" means Singapore Press Holdings Limited and/or its related entities, affiliates and subsidiaries.

      "User" means the user of the Licensed Content.

  2. No Warranties
    1. The Content is provided by SPH on an "as is" and "as available" basis only without warranties of any kind either express or implied. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, SPH disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of non-infringement of third party rights, title, merchantability, satisfactory quality and/or fitness for a particular purpose. Without limiting the foregoing, SPH does not warrant that the functions contained in or access to the Site or the Content will be timely, uninterrupted or error-free or without omission, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or the Content are free of viruses or other harmful components, or that the download, installation or use of any Content in or with any Computer will not affect the functionality or performance of the Computer.

  3. Licence and Intellectual Property
    1. SPH grants to the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right, on and subject to the terms of the Agreement, to use the Licensed Content solely for personal and non-commercial purposes only, which use may include the right to e-mail, print or share the Licensed Content on an ad hoc non-commercial basis for personal use only.
    2. All rights not expressly granted by SPH with respect to the Licensed Content are expressly reserved by SPH, and shall be retained by SPH. All intellectual property rights in the Content, including the Licensed Content, are owned by SPH and/or its licensors. Save as expressly set out in this Agreement, no part or parts of the Content may be reproduced, distributed, adapted, modified, displayed (other than for non-commercial purposes) or republished in any manner or by any means or stored in an information retrieval system without the prior written consent of SPH.
    3. The User shall immediately cease all dealings with the Licensed Content, and remove or take down any Licensed Content that SPH may from time to time notify to the user.

  4. Limitation of Liability
    1. In no event shall SPH be liable for any damages, loss, claim, liability, demand, proceedings, costs or expenses ('Loss') including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special, or consequential damage or economic loss, arising from or in connection with the use of the Licensed Content, the Content, the Site or any other services pursuant to the Agreement.
    2. The User shall indemnify SPH against any damages, losses, expenses and costs suffered or incurred by SPH in relation to any claims arising out of or in connection with any breach of the terms of these Conditions or the Agreement and/or any use of the Licensed Content that is not in accordance with the terms set out herein.

  5. Other Terms
    1. The Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and the parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
    2. A person or entity who is not a party to the Agreement has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act, Cap 53B to enforce any term of the Agreement.
    3. These Conditions may be amended by SPH from time to time in its discretion and the latest version of these Conditions will be posted at The User’s continued use of the Licensed Content shall constitute the User’s acceptance of that version uploaded.
    4. The terms set out in the Agreement constitute the entire agreement between the parties with regard to the subject matter herein.
